Material Handler

Carson, CA | Temporary | 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday, weekends as needed

ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a dependable Material Handler to join a fast-paced warehouse team in Carson, CA. In this temporary role, you’ll help keep materials moving safely and accurately through the facility so orders, inventory, and shipments stay on track. This is a great fit for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a hands-on environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Load, unload, move, sort, stack, and organize materials throughout the warehouse using equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and dollies as needed.
• Pick, pack, and label items to prepare them for shipment.
• Assist with inventory tasks, including counting, recording, and reporting discrepancies.
• Perform routine equipment checks and report any damage or malfunctions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow safety guidelines, company policies, and daily operating procedures.
• Work closely with team members to meet daily operational goals.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• Ability to accurately read and follow written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to a strong work ethic.
• Basic math and literacy skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for extended periods.
• Ability to push and pull loaded carts or pallet jacks.
• Previous warehouse or material handling experience is preferred.
• Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS) is preferred.
