Phoenix, AZ | Full-time | On-site | Overnight shift
ABOUT THE ROLE We're hiring a Senior Dispatch Coordinator to keep a high-volume overnight operation running smoothly. In this role, you'll coordinate owner-operators, resolve issues in real time, and help maintain service levels before problems escalate. This is a hands-on position for someone with dispatch experience in trucking or last-mile delivery who can make sound decisions under pressure.
WHAT YOU'LL DO • Coordinate 40–60 owner-operators each night, balancing the board and supporting on-time service delivery. • Handle breakdown calls and service failures, escalating issues quickly to reduce customer impact. • Monitor and enforce DOT hours-of-service compliance across the driver pool. • Support and oversee a team of 3–5 direct reports during the overnight shift. • Keep communication clear, timely, and professional throughout the shift.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR • 3+ years of dispatch experience in trucking or last-mile delivery. • 1+ year of hands-on Transportation Management System experience such as McLeod or TMW. • Working knowledge of DOT hours-of-service rules. • Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years. • High school diploma or GED. • Ability to pass a DOT-style background check and drug screen. • Authorized to work in the United States. • Ability to sit at a desk for 9 hours. • Typing speed of 45 words per minute or better.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Overnight schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. • On-call rotation: one week in four. • Overtime expected during monsoon season. • On-site position in Phoenix, AZ 85004.
