ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for an experienced Reach Truck Operator to join a fast-moving distribution operation in West Babylon, NY. In this role, you'll work on a small, self-directed crew managing high-rack storage and order fulfillment — safely and efficiently, with minimal supervision. If you're comfortable operating stand-up reach trucks at height and take real pride in a safety-first approach, we want to hear from you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Safely operate stand-up reach trucks and high-lift forklifts to store and retrieve pallets from racking at heights of 25–30 feet in narrow aisles.
• Pull, stage, and verify inventory accuracy using RF scanners for inbound and outbound order fulfillment.
• Assist with loading and unloading freight while keeping shipping docks organized and clear.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and maintain a clean, organized, accident-free work area.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• 1+ years of hands-on experience operating a stand-up reach truck or joystick-controlled high-reach forklift (stand-up at-height experience required — sit-down floor work alone does not qualify).
• Comfortable working at heights of 25–30 feet in narrow aisles throughout the shift.
• Ability to remain on your feet or operating equipment for the duration of the shift, and to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Genuine safety-first mindset: runs daily equipment checks and reports issues rather than working around them.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality — a clean attendance history is required.
• Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable personal transportation to commute to the worksite.
• Forklift certification is a plus; the employer will certify the right candidate on-site.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• Schedule: First shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
• Start date: July 1.
• All equipment and PPE provided on-site.
• Temp-to-perm opportunity with a path to permanent placement.
