Overview:
This role is an outpatient-focused pulmonology position with a structured Monday through Friday schedule and no call requirements. The physician will deliver high-quality pulmonary care, perform procedures, and play an active role in mentoring and supervising clinical staff. This is an ideal opportunity for a pulmonologist who thrives in a high-volume outpatient environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient pulmonary care and inpatient consults, managing an average of 20 patient visits per day
- Perform pulmonary procedures and leverage technology-enabled patient monitoring tools
- Supervise and mentor advanced practice providers and oversee support staff
- Maintain and cultivate relationships with local primary care providers to support coordinated patient care
Requirements:
- Board-certified pulmonologist with a strong patient care focus
- Experience or demonstrated interest in leadership and mentoring of clinical staff
- Comfort with high-volume outpatient practice; critical care interest not required
- Interest in technology-enabled care and modern practice tools; new graduates welcome to apply
