Overview: This senior operations leadership role is responsible for overseeing all functions of a food-safety compliant distribution facility, including warehousing, logistics, inventory control, and customer service. The General Manager will lead a team of 20+ employees, drive operational strategy, and ensure full compliance with food safety and regulatory standards. This is a high-impact role requiring deep expertise in ERP-driven operations and continuous improvement within a regulated environment.

Responsibilities:
• Lead daily operations across order fulfillment, inbound/outbound logistics, inventory management, customer service, and returns, while establishing and tracking KPIs and financial performance.
• Oversee ERP/WMS systems (preferably Fishbowl) to manage inventory accuracy, lot control, traceability, FIFO/FEFO rotation, and order processing.
• Partner with Quality/QA to maintain and improve food safety systems including GMP, HACCP, allergen control, sanitation, and recall readiness; lead internal and third-party audits.
• Drive LEAN and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service levels, reduce costs, and optimize system utilization, while managing operational budgets and supporting P&L goals.

Requirements:
• 8+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or distribution operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial role overseeing supervisors and frontline staff.
• Demonstrated proficiency with ERP/WMS platforms (Fishbowl or equivalent), including inventory control, lot traceability, and reporting.
• Experience in food, beverage, or pet food environments with working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and FSMA compliance strongly preferred.
• Proven track record in P&L management, LEAN/continuous improvement, and building high-performance, engaged team cultures.
