Overview: This role is responsible for the end-to-end engineering of electrical control systems for industrial processing equipment used in the food industry. The engineer will work across all phases of electrical design, from concept and specification through implementation and testing. Collaboration with mechanical engineers, project managers, and controls teams is central to the position.

Responsibilities:
- Design electrical schematics and control panel layouts using SolidWorks Electrical or similar tools, ensuring compliance with UL/CSA or CE standards based on customer requirements.
- Develop and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and organized electrical documentation for all projects.
- Collaborate with Controls Engineers on projects involving PLC programming and automated processing equipment integration.
- Support machine testing prior to shipment, including applying power, operating equipment in demo environments, and modifying HMI screens and layouts.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical diploma in an electrical/electronic field with relevant experience.
- 1–3 years of experience designing electrical control systems and creating schematics and panel layouts, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong familiarity with Rockwell Automation and Allen Bradley components, including VFDs, motor starters, and drives; knowledge of industrial cable types and ratings for wash-down environments is essential.
- Ability to read and apply UL/CSA and CE standards, size electrical components, and contribute to documentation and quality verification processes.
