Overview:
We're seeking a hands-on Equipment Assembly Technician to help build and organize equipment setups that support technology deployments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools, building practical solutions, and creating organized systems for devices and equipment.

You’ll assemble carts and shelving systems, create custom parts using a 3D printer, and help design setups that make it easy to manage and access technical devices.

Responsibilities:
- Use hand tools to assemble carts, shelving systems, and equipment setups.
- Operate a 3D printer to create custom parts and components.
- Print, test, and refine pieces used to organize and support devices.
- Assemble and configure carts or shelving systems for device storage and transport.
- Maintain an organized workspace and manage tools and materials.
- Contribute ideas to improve equipment layouts and designs.

Requirements:
- 0–2 years of experience using hand tools or working in a hands-on technical environment preferred but not required
- Experience with or willingness to learn 3D printing and basic fabrication techniques.
- Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to assemble equipment safely and accurately.
- Reliable transportation to work on-site in downtown Birmingham, AL.

Schedule:
- Approximately 20 hours per week to start, with the potential to increase to up to 40 hours per week as responsibilities grow.
- This is an on-site role in Birmingham, AL.
