Overview:
We are seeking a driven and experienced Freight Forwarding Sales Representative to join our growing team. This is a regional role covering the New York and New Jersey market, with the ability to sell nationally. The ideal candidate brings an established book of business, deep industry knowledge, and a proven track record of generating revenue in freight forwarding or third-party logistics (3PL).

Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow a portfolio of domestic and/or international freight forwarding clients
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target trade lanes and service lines
- Manage and retain existing client relationships, ensuring service satisfaction and account growth
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless execution of client shipments
- Meet and exceed individual sales targets and gross profit goals
- Represent the company at industry events and client meetings as needed

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of sales experience in freight forwarding, 3PL, or logistics
- Demonstrated track record with $1M–$5M+ in annual gross sales
- Gross profit margin experience of 18–30%
- Strong knowledge of one or more of the following service areas:
  - **International:** Ocean (import/export), Air Freight (import/export)
  - **Domestic:** LTL/FTL Trucking, Warehousing, Drayage, Hazmat, Refrigerated, Heavy Haul, Expedited
  - **Cross-Border:** Canada, Mexico
- Familiarity with key trade lanes (Transatlantic, Transpacific, Asia, Latin America, Europe)
- Ability to speak to active client base, contract volume, and transferable business

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience selling both domestic and international services
- Knowledge of special commodities or niche freight categories
- Existing relationships with shippers in the NY/NJ region
- Experience working with freight forwarding companies ranging from mid-size to enterprise level
