Overview: This role provides comprehensive nursing care to students within a campus-based health center, with a focus on those with complex medical, developmental, and physical disabilities. The nurse works as part of a multidisciplinary team to promote student health, safety, and independence. Evening and early-morning shift availability is essential to this position.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct nursing assessments, administer treatments and medications, and maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with health center standards
- Collaborate with educational staff, parents, and community professionals, including participation in IEP and team meetings
- Provide health education to students and staff, supporting student independence and delegated nursing functions
- Deliver emergency care as needed and support specialty clinics; may assume charge nurse or unit coordination duties as required

Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse licensure required; Bachelor's Degree preferred (LPN candidates considered with commitment to obtaining RN within 3 years)
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in pediatrics; experience with students with multiple or intellectual/developmental disabilities strongly preferred
- Knowledge of the nursing process and familiarity with disabling childhood conditions including cerebral palsy, visual impairment, and communicable diseases
- Current First Aid and CPR certification required; ability to push/pull 100+ lbs and lift up to 50 lbs
