Overview:
This role is responsible for overseeing all civil works activities on large-scale construction projects, ensuring adherence to technical standards, safety regulations, and project schedules. The Construction Manager serves as the primary point of accountability for quality, scheduling, and financial control across service provider activities. This is a senior-level position requiring the ability to guide teams, resolve complex issues, and drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate service providers and vendors to ensure all civil works installations meet contractual, technical, and quality standards
- Perform site pre-inspections, visual quality inspections, and post-construction audits while maintaining and updating construction documentation and progress tracking systems
- Manage and enforce safety compliance across all on-site activities in accordance with federal, local, and project-specific guidelines
- Prepare and deliver regular progress reports to project management, identify schedule risks, and drive resolution of construction issues
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management with demonstrated experience on projects involving over 500 sites
- Strong knowledge of civil works processes, site design interpretation, and quality assurance standards
- Active certifications including OSHA 30, RF Awareness, CPR/First Aid, and Ergonomics (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Ability to lead and guide field teams, solve complex technical problems, and manage multiple service providers simultaneously
