Overview We’re seeking a Welder to join a small manufacturing shop in Madison, South Dakota that produces livestock equipment such as shelters, gates, and metal feed bunks. This role is hands-on and production-focused, requiring a welder who can work with minimal supervision and communicate effectively in both English and Spanish. Responsibilities - Weld three-inch square steel tubing used in livestock equipment fabrication. - Complete multiple welds per rafter according to production requirements. - Use saws and grinders to cut, prep, and finish metal components. - Assemble and weld components for shelters, gating, and feed bunks. - Work independently on assigned tasks without the need for constant oversight. - Maintain basic shop safety and tool care standards. Requirements - At least 2-3 years of hands-on welding experience in a manufacturing or production environment. - Ability to work independently and stay productive without close supervision. - Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish for daily shop-floor communication. - Practical experience using welding equipment, saws, and grinders.
