Overview We’re seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to handle residential and light commercial service, maintenance, and system installations. This role is heavily customer-facing and requires strong diagnostic skills, comfort working in occupied homes, and the ability to recommend HVAC solutions during service calls. HVAC expertise is the priority, with basic electrical knowledge preferred and further training provided as needed. Responsibilities - Diagnose, service, and repair residential HVAC systems, including furnaces and whole-house air conditioners - Install replacement HVAC systems and perform light commercial service work - Complete minor ductwork tasks such as simple transitions and adjustments - Work directly with homeowners to explain findings, present system options, and recommend solutions Requirements - 3–5 years of hands-on residential HVAC service and installation experience - EPA certification for handling refrigerants - Basic electrical knowledge related to HVAC systems (service upgrades a plus) - Proven experience working independently in customer homes with a service-oriented mindset
