Overview:
We’re seeking an Apprentice Electrician to support residential electrical service work in customer homes. This role is ideal for someone early in their electrical career who is eager to learn, comfortable interacting with customers, and interested in developing both technical and service skills. The focus is on assisting with and gradually taking on simpler service calls while supporting experienced electricians.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with residential electrical service calls, including basic troubleshooting, repairs, and device replacements.
- Perform simpler service tasks independently as skills develop, such as outlet, switch, or GFCI replacements.
- Interact professionally with customers in their homes, explaining work performed and next steps clearly.
- Identify potential additional service needs and communicate them to senior technicians or office staff.
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of hands-on electrical experience in residential or service-based work.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems with a strong willingness to learn and be trained.
- Strong customer service and communication skills; comfortable working in occupied homes.
