Overview: The Sheet Metal Mechanic is responsible for laying out, fabricating, and installing sheet metal ductwork and related HVAC components for commercial construction projects. This role requires experience with field installation, fabrication, and ability to support both new construction and retrofit environments.

Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, measure, and install sheet metal duct systems and related components per project specifications and drawings.
- Perform field takeoffs, organize materials, and execute precise installations for HVAC and mechanical systems.
- Set and connect HVAC equipment, complete light welding or brazing as needed, and ensure system tie-ins are secure.
- Maintain safety standards, coordinate with team members, and ensure all work meets required specifications and deadlines.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a sheet metal mechanic in commercial HVAC or related construction settings.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, perform layout work, and execute accurate fabrication and installation.
- Must have own hand or small tools necessary for the trade.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
